A federal credit union may serve only those persons within its field of membership as granted by the governing agency, National Credit Union Administration. Florida State Employees Federal Credit Union serves state employees who work and/or live in the Northwest Florida counties of Escambia, Santa Rosa, Okaloosa and Walton. To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.
What this means for you:
When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, DOB, driver’s license and any other necessary information that will help us identify you.
With a $25 deposit, you will receive a wide range of products and services to help you save money, time and meet your financial needs. The $25 deposit is required to open a savings account. Stop by any of our three locations to sign up for an account.
Credit Union membership and financial services are offered to all immediate family members and relatives. Eligible family members include spouses, children, parents, siblings, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings and adoptive relations.
Once a member of Florida State Employees Federal Credit Union, you are entitled to use the services of your credit union for life. We want to retain your membership and have adopted the policy of "Once a member, always a member." This means that regardless of a job change or change in residence, you can continue to be a member of FSEFCU. If you close your account, you cannot reopen your account unless you remain in or return to the field of membership.
We want to Extend our Benefits to your Business!
We are looking for new Select Employee Groups (SEG Groups) to join our field of membership. If your business becomes one of our SEG Groups, your employees, as well as their family members, regardless of residence, will have the opportunity to join our Credit Union.
